The Chairman of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders’ Association of Nigeria (MACBAN) of Gwagwalada Area Council, Abuja, Adamu Aliyu, has been killed by gunmen.
The incident was confirmed by the Secretary of MACBAN, Mohammed Usman, who said the Chairman was killed alongside four others near Daku village in Dobi ward of the council on Thursday.
Reports say three persons were also kidnapped while three others sustained gunshot wounds and are currently receiving treatment at the University of Teaching Hospital, Gwagwalada.
Meanwhile, as at the time of filing this report, the spokesperson of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command, DSP Josephine Adeh, said she was not aware of the incident.
