Police in Ekiti have arrested for suspects for conspiring and robbing a victim of a Mini Suzuki bus and itel phone along Aramoko-Ekiti in August.
Agboola Kunle, 31, Balogun Waheed, 20, Taiwo Islamia, 19 and Adele Samuel, 23, were arrested in Langbasa area of Lagos state, a statement by the Ekiti State Police Command spokesman, DSP Sunday Abutu, said.
Abutu stated that the Anti-Vehicle Theft unit of the command tracked the suspects to Lagos and apprehended them, adding that the stolen itel phone was recovered.
While effort is ongoing to arrest other members of the syndicate and recover the stolen vehicle, the spokesman disclosed that the arrested suspects would be arraigned in court as soon as investigation is concluded.
