As fuel is to a car, so is food to the body.

A breakfast is the first meal of the day taken in the morning, and a good one basically provides nutrients needed for the body to start a good day.

Reasons to take your breakfast:

  1. It helps to fuel the body, providing energy needed for the day.
  2. It gives better power of concentration.
  3. It helps to be more productive and active in problem solving.
  4. It helps to guide against behavioural problems, e.g. quick temper, aggressiveness, irritation, etc.

On the whole, a breakfast is the first choice the body has to fuel its activities—so don’t skip it.

Finally, glucose is essential to the body and good for the brain because it is the main energy source for the brain and the blood. It also helps to fuel the muscle needed for physical activities throughout the day.

And the good news is: virtually every meal has glucose.
