The Director General, Buhari/Osinbajo Campaign Council in Ekiti State, Dr Olusegun Osinkolu, has expressed confidence that the new Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Chief Niyi Adebayo, will be an inestimable asset to President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration.
In his congratulatory message to Adebayo on the occasion of his swearing-in as a Minister, Osinkolu said the ex-governor will perform creditably well by transforming his ministry in line with his patriotism and excellence traits.
Adebayo who served as Ekiti governor between 1999 and 2003 was sworn in as a Minister on Wednesday to superintend the Industry, Trade and Investment Ministry.
Applauding Adebayo for his commitment to the development of the nation, Osinkolu said putting the astute politician in such a Ministry was akin to putting a round peg in a round hole.
“Niyi Adebayo has always demonstrated to be a patriotic Nigerian and a politician with modesty. I am convinced by his actions and dispositions to governance that he will be an asset of inestimable value to President Buhari.
“His wealth of experience as an accomplished lawyer, businessman and politician of note will be of tremendous benefits to the ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment.”
