A video of the historic moment former Emir of Kano, Muhammad Sanusi II, was reportedly whisked away from the palace by security operatives has surfaced online.
The former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria was dethroned on Monday by the Kano State government over alleged disrespect to Governor Abdullahi Ganduje and other authorities.
Sanusi was appointed in 2014 following the death of his granduncle, Ado Bayero.
