Reps Majority Leader loses at Appeal Court

The Appeal Court in Kaduna on Monday sacked the House of Representatives Majority Leader, Alhassan Ado Doguwa.

The lawmaker representing Tunduwada/Dogwa Federal Constituency was removed by the court presided over by Justice Oludotun Adefope Okojie.

Consequently, the court has ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to conduct a fresh poll in the two local governments where the election took place.

It would be recalled that the Appeal Court gave the same verdict on Abdulmummin Jibrin, the lawmaker representing Kiru/Bebeji Federal Constituency of Kano State.
