The Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Osogbo, the Osun State capital, on Thursday declared the state assembly election in Obokun State Constituency inconclusive. The verdict has therefore removed Mr Adewumi Adeyemi of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as the elected lawmaker.
Mr Adeyemi had earlier been declared winner of the poll, but the tribunal cancelled the elections of four units and ordered a rerun.
However, it upheld the election of Mulikat Abiola, the All Progressives Congress member representing Ifelodun Federal Constituency.
The tribunal had earlier in the day nullified the election of Mr Bamidele Salam, the PDP member representing Ede Federal Constituency.
