Olubadan: Ogunwole congratulates Ibadan residents, pledges support for Seyi Makinde

Oyo State House of Assembly hopeful from Ibadan South East Constituency II, Adeleye Ogunwole, has congratulated the people of Ibadan and Governor Seyi Makinde on the successful coronation of the 42nd Olubadan of Ibadanland, His Royal Highness Oba Lekan Balogun.

Ogunwole, popularly known as ‘Leye O Seyi’, described the installation as the dawn of a new era, noting that the pedigree of the monarch is a sign of positivity in the town.

In a statement personally signed by the astute banker, he said, ” I congratulate the good people of Ibadan and His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde, on the successful coronation of the 42nd Olubadan of Ibadanland, His Royal Highness Senator Dr Lekan Balogun.

“While we celebrate the dawn of a new day in Ibadanland, may the reign of the Olubadan be long and filled with peace and joy.

“Ki ade pe lori, ki irukere pe lowo. Oye a mori o, Kabiyesi.”

Ogunwole also pledged his support to the administration of Governor Makinde, maintaining that the governor has done exceptionally well to deserve a second term ticket and tenure.

“Having displayed exemplary and unequalled acumen, I think it’s a simple fact that Governor Seyi Makinde deserve accolades and continuity.

” Oyo State has experienced good leadership and sheer development since he came on board, that is what being a governor entails,” Ogunwole stated.
