An Oyo State House of Assembly hopeful, Hon. Adeleye Ogunwole, has congratulated Hon. Abass Agboworin of the Peoples Democratic Party on his reelection as the lawmaker representing Ibadan North East/South East Federal Constituency.
Agboworin was on Saturday declared winner by the Independent National Electoral Commission with 28,111 votes ahead of the All Progressive Congress’ Adedapo Lam-Adesina, who polled 27, 338.
In a statement personally signed by him on Sunday, Ogunwole said Agboworin’s reelection showed the level of trust electorates had in the lawmaker who has always shown commitment and humane abilities.
The statement said, “I want to congratulate my able leader and politician par excellence, Hon. Abass Agboworin, on his reelection to represent the able people of Ibadan North East/South East Federal Constituency.
“While it is obvious that he is an awesome representative, it is of immense important to know our people trust him enough to give him the chance again.
“Hon. Agboworin is dedicated to the welfare of our people at all levels and will deliver as expected.
“I want to commend the electorate for a peaceful poll and I urge them to believe in who they voted for as we all move ahead to a better future.”
