The Ekiti State Chapter of the Nigeria Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) has congratulated Ekiti State governor, Biodun Oyebanji, on his latest victory at the Supreme Court.
In a press release signed by the chapter’s chairman, Omololu Adesua and Secretary, Kayode Adebusuyi, the institute ascribed the victory at the apex court to God and urged the governor to see it as a win-win development for all, in the service of Ekiti people.
NIPR also salutes the path of peaceful legal course of redress taken by Chief Segun Oni and his party, the Social Democratic Party (SDP), noting that the action has deepened the Nigerian democratic process, most especially the electoral dispute resolution.
While pledging its continued partnership with the government of Ekiti to move the State forward in government policy marketing and relationship management, the body also implored all Ekiti sons and daughters to join hands with the administration of Oyebanji with a view to moving the state to greater heights.
Meanwhile, Ekiti NIPR has admonished residents of the state to celebrate this year’s Easter modestly, in view of the state of the economy and the challenging time majority of Nigerians are going through.
