Nigeria records five new cases of COVID-19, total now 214

Five new cases of coronavirus were on Saturday recorded in Bauchi and Abuja, bringing to 214 the total number of infected persons in Nigeria.

This was made known by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) via its verified Twitter handle, @ncdcgov.

The latest cases indicate that Abuja and Bauchi have 43 and 6 total number of cases respectively.

The tweet by NCDC read:” Five new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria: 3 in Bauchi and 2 in the FCT.

”As at 10:10 pm 4th April there are 214 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. Twenty-five have been discharged with four deaths.”
