Breaking: Lagos COVID-19 cases jump to 145 as total hit 276 in Nigeria

Lagos State on Wednesday recorded fifteen new cases of coronavirus pandemic as Nigeria confirmed twenty-two new patients who contracted the virus.

This was made known by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) via its verified Twitter handle, @ncdcgov.

The centre said the latest cases were recorded in Lagos, Abuja, Bauchi and Edo.

The tweet read: ”Twenty-two new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria: 15 in Lagos, 4 in the FCT, 2 in Bauchi, 1 in Edo.

”As at 09:00pm 8th April there are 276 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria. Fourty-four have been discharged with six deaths.”

The current figure has increased to 145 the number of cases in Lagos, while Abuja, Bauchi and Edo have 54, 8 and 12 respectively.
