Operatives of the Benin Zonal Office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Wednesday arrested 10 suspected internet fraudsters at their hideout in an early morning operation.
The suspects are: Abuwa Marvis, Ikpasa Efe, Abraham Idede, Maye Edefeose, Ovie Akpojevuehe, Akpotor Okeoghene, Abuwa Jeffery, Ehirouture Precious, Best Lucky and Lucky Desmond.
According to the Commission, items recovered from the suspects include laptop computers, mobile phones, flash drives, internet modems, charms (voodoo) and a Toyota Venza.
They were said to be arrested following information made available to the Commission.
The suspects will be charged to court as soon as investigation is completed.
