The lawmaker representing Denge/Shuni State Constituency at the Sokoto State House of Assembly, Aminu Magaji Bodai, has been kidnapped by suspected hoodlums.
Dondai of the All Progressives Congress (APC) was said to have been abducted around 1:15 a.m. between Dange and Bodai town on Thursday morning.
Though the detail of the incident is still sketchy, the abduction was confirmed by the state’s Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), ASP Mohammed Sadiq Abubakar.
At the time of filing this report, the abductors have not made any demands.
