Nigerians have continued to condemn in strong terms a viral skit by two upcoming skitmakers with the name @comedian_simigo123 on Instagram.
The video, now deleted, portrayed a landlord molesting his tenant’s daughter, who apparently was a toddler.
Though the act was not shown, there were explicit sounds from the child which made the skit disturbing.
In three apology videos, the skitmakers and a woman who is said to be the mother stated that it was only a skit that portrayed a wicked landlord, though they could not mention any moral lessons to be learned.
Meanwhile, as celebrities and other Nigerians continued to urge followers to report the page, law enforcement agents have also been called upon to arrest the skitmakers.
Consequently, the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) has promised to look into the Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM).
