The Oyo State Police Command has rearrested the suspected serial killer in Akinyele, Sunday Shodipo.
The Command’s spokesman, Olugbenga Fadeyi, confirmed the development, adding that details would be made available shortly.
He also said the suspect has been kept in safer custody.
Recall that Shodipe escaped from police custody on August 11 before the police made it public about five days later.
The Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, had deployed crack detectives to help in tracking down the suspect and a N500,000 bounty was placed on him.
