Former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has said he is currently in Ekiti State to discuss national issues with Governor Kayode Fayemi.

The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) chieftain, who made this known via his Twitter handle, said he arrived the state on Thursday morning and would spend a few days.

Fani-Kayode tweeted, “Arrived in Ado Ekiti, Ekiti State this morning to spend a few days with my old friend & brother Gov. John Kayode Fayemi & to discuss national issues & South West unity & solidarity with him.

” Even though we are in different political parties & I remain a loyal member of @OfficialPDPNig whilst he is in the APC we must build bridges of peace, mutual respect &understanding not just across regional, ethnic &religious lines in our nation but also across party lines. This will enhance peace, unity & stability in our nation. As it has been with the other 8 state Governors that I have visited on this tour over the last one month my delegation and I have been received with love and warmth.

” I thank the people of Ekiti, the land of gallant warriors, great leaders, political giants & irrepressable juggernauts like Ayo ‘Peter the Rock’ Fayose, Segun Oni, Niyi Adebayo, Abiodun Olujimi,Akin Osuntokun,Dayo Adeyeye, Ayodele Arise & many others, for receiving me with joy.”
