The former Police Public Relations Officer in Ekiti State, Caleb Ikechukwu, has been promoted to the rank of a Superintendent of Police.
Ikechukwu, currently a Unit Commander in Mopol 64, Idiato, Imo State, was the spokesperson for Ekiti State Police Command between April 2008 and January 2020.

He is expected to be officially decorated alongside other promoted officers soon.
Hailed from Ngor-Okpala Local government Area of Imo State, Ikechukwu enlisted into the Nigeria Police Force as a cadet Assistant Superintendent of Police in 2010.
He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering from the Federal University of Technology, Owerri, Imo State and a Masters of Engineering in Structural Engineering from Bayero University, Kano State.
He also holds a certification in Negotiation and Conflict Management from the United States Institute of Peace and a certification of Public Relations Strategies and Communication Skills from School of Media and Communication, Pan-Atlantic University.
An award-winning officer, Ikechukwu worked in the North-West, South West and South-South geo-political zones of the country and had also served as a peace keeper in Liberia with United Nations.
