First victory for Lampard as Chelsea beat Norwich

It was a good day and first victory for Chelsea’s manager, Frank Lampard, as Norwich bowed to him in a 3-2 home defeat game on Saturday.

The 41-year-old Englishman had been in the news for losing his first match to Manchester United (0-4) and drawing at home (1-1) with Leicester City in his first two Premier League games of the season.

It was a good victorious start for Lampard as Tammy Abraham scored a brace and Mason Mount put in a third for the Blues, while Norwich’s goals came from Todd Cantwell and Teemu Pukki.

Recall that the new manager signed a three-year contract with Chelsea on July 4, 2019 after a season with Derby County.
