Ekiti 2022: Register, collect PVCs to end APC misrule, Famuyibo tells residents

The candidate of the Accord Party for the Ekiti State governorship election, Reuben Famuyibo, has called on the people of the state to embrace the ongoing continuous voters registration exercise to enroll for their PVCs ahead of the June 18 poll.

The candidate, who commended Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for taking the exercise to the 177 wards in the state, noted that the people should be ready to register and collect their permanent voters card ahead of the election.

He explained that the only way for residents to demonstrate their love for his candidature and aspirations is to go out and enroll with INEC in a bid to participate during the governorship poll.

The elder statesman reminded the people that it is only through their PVCs they could reject the long suffering inflicted on them by the ruling All Progressives Congress and enthrone the government of the Accord Party which would place high priority on their welfare.

According to him, β€œ I want to encourage our people in Ekiti State who are yet to get to their PVCs to take advantage of the CVR exercise by INEC at the ward to register. You can only vote and participate in the coming governorship election when you have your PVC, so people should go out and register.

β€œ As we all know, the APC government in Ekiti State has failed the people and we are ready considering our plans for the state, we are set to salvage the situation and give the people responsive and responsible governance.

β€œ The June 18 election will clearly be a referendum against the APC government considering their lackluster performances across all sectors of governance.”
