COVID-19: Nigeria records highest number of cases

Nigeria on Tuesday recorded 663 cases of coronavirus, the highest daily number since the virus was first detected in the country in February.

According to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, the new cases were reported in 25 states and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

The centre said Nigeria currently has a total of 13, 464 infections with 4,206 discharged patients and 365 deaths.
