COVID-19: Cases hit 1,273 as virus spreads to 32 states, FCT

Cases of coronavirus in Nigeria on Sunday hit 1,273 as the virus spread to 32 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control announced the new statistics via its verified Twitter handle in the early hours of Monday.

The centre tweeted, ”91 new cases of #COVID19 reported;

3-Ondo

3-Edo
3-Oyo
3-Rivers
3-Bauchi
2-Osun
1-Akwa Ibom
1-Bayelsa

”As at 1150pm 26th April- 1273 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria.”

NCDC added that a total of 239 patients have been discharged so far while 40 deaths were recorded.
