President Muhammadu Buhari has sent the names of 42 Career Ambassadors-designate to the senate for screening and confirmation.
The list was read during plenary on Tuesday by the Senate President, Ahmad Lawan.
In the letter, dated May 6, 2020, Buhari said the list was ”In accordance to Section 171 (1),(2)(c) and subsection (4) of the 1999 Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as amended”.
