The National Working Committee of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has appointed Umar Damagum as the acting National Chairman of the party.
This was disclosed by the National Publicity Secretary, Debo Ologunagba, at a press conference on Tuesday at the party’s secretariat.
This is coming after Iyorchia Ayu, was suspended by his ward in Benue State and subsequent interim injunction by a High Court sitting in Markudi restraining him from parading himself as the National Chairman of the party.
