Obodo told Brila FM on Monday that he was locked up in the boot of a car for hours and was subsequently robbed.
“It was really discomforting locked up in a hot car trunk for hours.
“They didn’t hurt me or intimidate me but I can’t understand the reason for anyone to want to put me through this sort of thing over again,” he revealed.
Recall that Obodo was abducted in June, 2012, in Warri but was rescued by the police within a day..
The ex-international played for clubs in Nigeria, Italy, Belarus, Portugal, Greece and Romania.
