A member of the Ekiti State House of Assembly and the Regional Youth Pastor (RYP), Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Region 25, Ekiti State, Hon. Adeoye Stephen Aribasoye, has described the church’s General Overseer, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye as a transformational and exceptionally spirited church leader.
The RCCG region 25 comprises of 10 provinces and the Regional Headquarters with a youth and Young adult population of over 35,000.
Aribasoye said this in his congratulatory message, on Wednesday, to Pastor Adebayo, who clocked 80 on March 2, 2022.
The parliamentarian, in a statement in Ado Ekiti issued on behalf of the RCCG youths, extolled Adeboye’s virtues of outstanding humility, spiritualism, generosity, and down to earth disposition, in spite of his intimidating stature in the spiritual world globally.
He described the cleric as one of the most tolerant men of God in the country and globally, with unquenchable passion for salvation and peaceful coexistence among all races, regardless of religious beliefs.
The lawmaker stated that for the steadfastness and resoluteness of people like Pastor Adeboye, Nigerian youth’s involvement in crime and criminal activities would have become grave and dangerous, saying his unmatchable gospel activities and welfarist nature have helped in stemming the tide.
Aribasoye said the entire youth of the region praised the grace of God in the life of the world acclaimed priest and prayed that God should imbue him with more powers and strength to be able to win more souls to God’s vineyard.
The Pastor-cum-politician stated that RCCG geometric and wondrous growth across the globe in terms of population and winning of souls under Pastor Adeboye was a strong testimonial to the uncommon grace and favour he enjoys from God.
Aribasoye said the RCCG youth in the region were proud of the cleric’s achievements in the promotion of holiness and soul-winning across the globe.
“Baba Adeboye has become a phenomenon world over in God’s vineyard. He is a transformational leader. Most importantly, humility has been the hallmark of his life and ministry.
“I recalled joining RCCG at a very tender age and the impact of that move upon my life and others has been tremendous. Baba’s managerial acumen, vision for kingdom’s expansion and contributions to social welfare of the society are unquantifiable.
“No wonder he was counted among the 50 most influencial persons in the world. He is faithfully committed to anything that has to do with the propagation of gospel and the development of our society. He strongly believe in religious tolerance and also a lover of youth,” the lawmaker said.
He therefore said Nigerian youth would forever be grateful to Pastor Adeboye for his welfare scheme in terms of provision of relief materials to displaced people, offering of jobs and empowerments to graduate and skilled youth and preparation of their souls for the kingdom of God.
