The University of Lagos has suspended Dr Boniface Igbeneghu of the Faculty of Arts following a viral video by the British Broadcasting Corporation of his sexual demands to offer admission to an undercover journalist who posed as a 17-year-old admission seeker.

The lecturer was exposed in a video by BBC Africa Eye.
The suspension was confirmed by the Vice-Chancellor of the institution, Oluwatoyin Ogundipe, on Monday.
Ogundipe said the lecturer has been suspended indefinitely and a panel will be set up to investigate the allegations.
