Following the ruling of Justice Taiwo Taiwo of the Federal High Court sitting in Abuja which granted permission to the Department of State Services (DSS)to detain ‘RevolutionNow’ convener, Omoyele Sowore, his counsel, Barrister Inibehe Effiong, has said he’s planning to vacate the ruling.
The human right lawyer said Sowore’s legal team had concluded plans to review the decision of the presiding judge and the documents filed by the DSS, with a view to persuading the court to upturn its earlier order.
He expressed disappointment at the decision to detain Sowore detained till September 21 and asserted that steps would be taken to contest it in court soonest.
