Operatives of the Lagos State Rapid Response Squad (RRS) have arrested a young tricycle rider after a blood stain gave him away.
According to a statement posted on its Twitter page, the RRS said the incident occurred around 5am on Thursday at Agidigbi area of Ikeja, the state capital.
”RRS officers on patrol noticed unusual movement of a tricycle as it changed direction on sighting policemen. The officers chased & arrested the keke & rider, while two other occupants escaped. When searched, traces of blood were found on the tricycle.
”The rider claimed he doesn’t know others; that he was a regular commercial tricyclist.”
The Squad is currently in search of victim of the attack and has urged anyone with useful information to call 09053950347.
