An aspirant to the Oyo State House of Assembly, Rotarian Adeleye Omololu Ogunwole, has congratulated the newly-elected Deputy National Chairman (South) of the People’s Democratic Party, Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja.
The Ibadan-born young and vibrant banker described Arapaja’s victory as well-deserved, noting that the position is for the strong and a few could achieve such feat.
Ogunwole made this known in a statement personally signed by him and made available to Newsafresh on Sunday.
According to him, ”On behalf of myself and the good people of Ibadan South-East, I heartily congratulate Ambassador Taofeek Arapaja on his well-deserved victory as the incoming Deputy National Chairman of our great party, the People’s Democratic Party.
”Many try but only a few will achieve it and we are happy you made it.
”Considering your contributions and efforts to rebuild our great party, it is no surprise that you have made it this far.”
The entrepreneur prayed that Arapaja would succeed in his new position despite the challenges that might arise, while expressing optimism on the unparallel achievements that would characterise his tenure.
Ogunwole, who is aspiring to represent Ibadan South East Constituency II, also congratulated Governor Seyi Makinde on his ”transformational and exemplary leadership style with which he has uplifted the face of Oyo State in the last few years and indeed his leadership role in keeping the PDP at all levels as one big family under the big umbrella.”
He therefore passed a vote of confidence in the governor for continuity till 2027, adding that he also deserves to be the party leader till then.
