A Nigerian man identified as Emeka has been stabbed to death by suspected drug dealers in Johannesburg, South Africa.
The deceased was reportedly attacked on Friday but the news got around a day after, while horrifying pictures of the dead body were circulated on social media.
However, sources disclosed that the incident is unconnected with any xenophobic attacks and it was only a drug related murder.
Emeka was said to have received a phone call before meeting up with his suspected killers, who stabbed him to death and took away his car.
A source said the manner in which he was stabbed suggested that he was one of them, while another who claimed to know the deceased stated that he was working in Lagos before he came to Johannesburg and joined a drug cartel.
