Minister of Justice and Attorney-General of the Federation (AGF), Abubakar Malami, has withdrawn from Kebbi State governorship race.
This is coming hours after Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele, and Minister of Labour and Employment, Senator Chris Ngige, dropped their presidential ambition.
Malami had, in April, declared interest in the governorship race.
Recall that President Muhammadu Buhari ordered all ministers, ambassadors and other appointees with political ambitions to to leave his cabinet with immediate effect.
