Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has said it is most likely soldiers from the Nigerian Army shot #EndSARS protesters at Lekki Toll Gate last Tuesday.
The Nigerian Army had earlier said videos of the shooting were ‘photoshopped’ as its men were not present at the scene of the shooting.
Speaking to CNN on Monday, Sanwo-Olu however said, ”From the footage that we could see, it seems to be that men in military uniform, which should be Nigerian Army, ordered the shooting.
The Governor also said the videos of the incident would be made available to the judicial panel set up to review the incident and the report will be sent ”to all the relevant authorities in the state to ensure that everyone found culpable is accountable for the act.”
