The Lagos State Commissioner for Health, Prof. Akin Abayomi, has sent a message to passengers of British Airways’ flight BA 75 to stay at home and isolate themselves for 14 days after a new case of Coronavirus was recorded.
The new case was reported on Tuesday as a 30-year-old Nigerian lady, who returned from the United Kingdom on March 13, tested positive.
The Ministry of Health said she is now at Mainland General Hospital receiving treatment.
Abayomi said passengers on the same flight with the patient should self-isolate themselves at home for two weeks as the ministry had started contact tracing of all passengers and those who might have had contact with the patient.
