The current Ikere Ekiti-born national Light Heavyweight Champion, Adewale Masebinu, A.k a Masevex, has revealed that he is getting married on November 7, 2020 because he was compelled to do so.
The 33-year-old boxing champion told journalists that he loved his profession so much and had been skeptical of what could make him lose focus, hence his refusal to marry despite his family’s persuasion.
Masevex, who said he was initially running away from marriage so as not to Lag behind in his boxing profession, revealed that since he won the National Light Heavyweight boxing title in 2018, “women have been troubling me, and did not give me breathing space because they want to want marry me”
“After much thought and consultations with my coach who assured me that marriage will not affect my boxing profession, I have decided to move forward with my heartbeat, Adebimpe Kehinde, as we tie the knot at Bollad Event Center in Ibadan, Oyo State,” Masevex added.
The popular who said he is still eyeing the world boxing title disclosed that he is prepared to go and defend his current title immediately after his wedding, saying he is battle ready against his challenger.
