The Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, has obtained the N100 million nomination and expression of interest forms to join the presidential race in the All Progressives Congress.
This is coming prior to the Tuesday deadline for the sale of the forms at the International Conference Centre, Abuja, even as several aspirants vying for various electoral offices stormed the venue on Monday.
Leader of the group, Sam Nkire, told journalists that, “We are not here on our own, we have his backing. Even though friends and brothers contributed to purchase this form for him but he has given us the go-ahead.”
