The Federal Government of Nigeria will on Monday arraign the convener of RevolutionNow, Omoyele Sowore, before the Abuja Federal High Court.
The Office of the Attorney-General of the Federation will arraign Sowore on seven counts bordering on treasonable felony, money laundering and cyber crimes.
A source disclosed that the defendant will not be arraigned before Justice Taiwo Taiwo but Justice Ijeoma Ojukwu.
It would be recalled that the Sahara Reporter publisher was arrested by the Department of State Sevices (DSS) on August 3, 2019 barely 48 hours before the RevolutionNow protest.
Justice Taiwo Taiwo granted the DSS permission to detain the Sowore for 45 days and ordered him to be released on bail after its expiration, but the DSS has not carried out the ruling.
