Members of the Ekiti State League of Veteran Journalists have congratulated Comrade Ronke Samo on her recent election as the Vice President, B Zone of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ).
The Veterans in a congratulatory letter dated 20th of October 2021 and signed by its Chairman, Prince Kayode Oni, described the emergence of the former Vice Chairman, Ekiti State Council of the NUJ, as a welcome development.
The association also said the election of Comrade Samo into the position of the National Executive Council of the NUJ was made possible as a result of her outstanding contributions to the Ekiti Council of the union.
While congratulating the Vice President, Ekiti NUJ and the National Orientation Agency Chapel, the Veterans also admonished her to use her exalted position to contribute more to the development of Ekiti State Council and the B Zone of the union.
The Veterans also appreciate the members of the NUJ Ekiti State Council, under the leadership of Comrade Rotimi Ojomoyela, as well as others who contributed to the success of the election.
