Ekiti State Correspondent of Thisday Newspapers, Victor Ogunje, has announced the death of his mother, Chief (Mrs) Rachael Oja Omogbemile Ogunje.
The deceased, aged 94, was a respectable community leader.
A statement by Mr Ogunje, who is also the Chairman, Ekiti Correspondents’ Chapel, Nigeria Union of Journalists, said Mrs Ogunje died on Tuesday at her residence in Ijan Ekiti, Gbonyin Local Government Area of Ekiti State.
Burial arrangements will be announced later.
