Nigeria on Sunday recorded 14 new cases of the coronavirus pandemic in Abuja and Lagos, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) says.
The new record has put the total number of infected persons at 111, with Lagos and Abuja having nine and five new cases respectively.
The NCDC gave the announcement on its verified Twitter handle on Sunday evening.
The tweet read: ”Fourteen new cases of #COVID19 have been reported in Nigeria; 9 in Lagos and 5 in FCT.
“As at 09:30 pm 29th March there are 111 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria with 1 death.”
