Former Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure in Kano State, Mu’azu Magaji, has tested positive for coronavirus.
Mu’azu Magaji, who was removed from office by Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje for making “indecent comments” over the death of the former Chief of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari, made this known on Thursday morning via his Facebook account.
Kyari died of coronavirus on April 17, 2020.
Magaji’s personal assistant, Ibrahim Dawakin Tofa, also said the former commissioner had earlier self-isolated himself for two days pending the result of the test.
Meanwhile, Magaji has reportedly been moved to Kwanan Dawaki Isolation Centre.
