Former Super Eagles player, Christian Obodo, has been kidnapped.
The incident was said to have occurred on Sunday along the popular Refinery Road near Warri in Delta State when he stopped to buy bananas in company of his girlfriend.
The Delta State Police Command spokesperson, Onome Onovawakpoyega, confirmed the details, adding that the ex-international was abducted around 5pm.
Recalled that Obodo was kidnapped in June 2012 by gunmen but rescued within 24 hours by the police in Enevo, Isoko area of Delta state.
No ransom was paid at the time and suspects were arrested.
