An appointee of Governor Yahaya Bello, Samuel Alumka, has died in an auto crash while on his way to Abuja to attend the ongoing All Progressives Congress (APC) special convention.
Alumka, a former Administrator of Bassa Local Government Area of Kogi State, passed on after a fatal motor accident in Gwagwalada.
The deceased contested the House of Assembly election for Bassa State constituency but lost to his opponent.
A family source said his remains are being transported to his country home in Bassa LG.
Recall that earlier, Alhaji Isa Baba Buji, one of the APC delegates from Buji Local Government Area (LGA) of Jigawa State, died in Abuja.
