Akwa Ibom State Governor, Udom Emmanuel, has relieved his Chief of Staff, Akparawa Ephraim Inyang-eyen, of his position with immediate effect.
This was contained in a letter on Tuesday titled ‘Appreciation of your service’ and signed by the Secretary to the state Government, Dr Emmanuel Ekuwem.
While thanking Inyang-eyen for his ‘worthy contributions’, the governor said the step was necessary ‘to match skill set and competencies to the task of maintaining the momentum of the economic development in peace’.
Recall that the 57-year-old served as Emmanuel’s Commissioner for Works before his last appointment.
