Accolades have continued to pour in for the Chairman, Ekiti Correspondents Chapel of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, over his appointment as the Special Assistant to the Deputy Governor on Media.
A statement by the Vice-Chairman and Secretary of the Chapel, Comrades Raphael Ogbonaiye and Victor Akinkuolie, respectively, thanked the State Government, while wishing Ogunje divine strength, knowledge, understanding and success in the new assignment.
The Chapel equally described the choice of its Chairman as a round peg in a round hole and assured that he will perform creditably.
Similarly, the NUJ Chairman, Ekiti State, Comrade Rotimi Ojomoyela, has described the choice of the astute journalist as very thoughtful and expressed hope that he would deliver, being a well-bred and experienced professional.
The union promised to give the necessary support to Ogunje and by extension the state government to achieve the mandate of making Ekiti a pride of place.
