Super Eagles of Nigeria’s captain, Ahmed Musa, is set to return to his former Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) club, Kano Pillars.
According to ACL Sports, the 28-year-old striker is set to join the club on a flexible short-term deal as he is yet to get a foreign club.
Report says the transfer is practically completed, though a few decisions are yet to be taken.
Musa left Al Nassr of Saudi Arabia in October 2020 after almost two years at the club but has not been signed to any club since then.
He had enjoyed fame in clubs in Nigeria, Netherlands, Russia and England and also had a swell time in the Super Eagles.
It is expected that he would find his play time again after a chance at a club.
