The lawmaker representing Kosofe Constituency II in the Lagos State House of Assembly, Hon. Tunde Buraimoh, is dead.
Buraimoh reportedly died around 4 am on Friday at the age of 60.
The deceased, whose cause of death is yet unknown, was the Assembly’s spokesperson.
Sources said he died of an undisclosed illness after being absent from the Assembly’s Complex for about two weeks.
Buraimoh’s colleague representing Kosofe Constituency 1 in the Lagos Assembly, Sanni Okanlawon, confirmed his death.
Similarly, the Chief Press Secretary to the Kosofe Local Government Chairman, Taiwo Fadipe, said Buraimoh died at a hospital around Ikorodu road after a brief illness.
The late lawmaker was the Chairman of Kosofe Local Government between 1999 and 2002 and was also the Bamofin of Ketuland.
Born on September 30, 1960, Buraimoh attended Ogun State University, Ago-Iwoye, where he studied law and graduated in 1988.
Until his death, he was a second-term lawmaker.
