Governor Rotimi Akeredolu and eleven other persons had, as at the close of business on Thursday, July 2nd, 2020, returned their expression of interest and nomination forms to contest the ticket of the All Progressives Congress ahead of the governorship election in Ondo State.
The party’s primary will take place on July 20 as the state prepares for its gubernatorial election on October 10.
Other aspirants contesting alongside Akeredolu include Kekemeke Duerimini, Olusola Oke, Joseph Iji, Odimayo Okunniyi, Abraham Micheal and Ifeoluwa Oladele.
Meanwhile, the party is expected to display the credentials of the aspirants for claims and objections before they face a screening panel prior to the primary.
