The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has announced the distribution of relief materials donated by Chinese billionaire, Jack Ma, to help in curbing the spread of the coronavirus pandemic in the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
The centre made this known on Thursday while updating the public on new steps taken in the fight against the deadly disease.
The 55-year-old business magnate had, about a week ago, donated 100,000 face masks, 9,999 coverall gowns, 20, 000 Runs of reagents for testing and 913 face shields to Nigeria.
While disclosing the amount of materials sent to each state and the FCT, NCDC said the number of cases in each state was the benchmark for the distribution.
