The presidential primary election at the Special Convention of the All Progressives Congress in Abuja has just been concluded with Asiwaju Bola Tinubu winning the ticket with… votes.
Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi came second with 316 votes while Vice President Yemi Osinbajo had 235 votes.
While delivering their speeches before the election on Tuesday, former Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, Godswill Akpabio, Senator Ibikunle Amosun representing Ogun Central, Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State, former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dimeji Bankole, Governor Muhammad Badaru of Jigawa State, Senator Ajayi Boroffice representing Ondo North and the only female presidential aspirant, Uju Ohanenye, stepped down for Tinubu.
A total of 2,260 delegates voted at the primary. The rundown of states and accredited delegates are as follows:

After the election, 13 votes were invalid: while 12 had no legible names, one had no security signature.
